- TotalEnergies is looking for a BioPolymers Process Engineer (M/F) to join the Process R&D division. The incumbent will lead and coordinate technical projects in the field of biopolymers. He/she will be a reference for the technology watch activity of the polymer process department for the biopolymer part. He/she will supervise and facilitate the work of the other polymer process engineers when necessary and will ensure the transfer of knowledge to the whole team.
- As a BioPolymer Process Engineer (M/F), you will have the following responsibilities- Develop and recommend the optimal technical solutions to meet the needs of the business and potential partners taking into account HSE, costs and deadlines to make these projects fully successful for TotalEnergies in this JV or on its own;
- Improve the performance of existing and future industrial tools;
- Ensure the industrialisation of future new products and processes;
- Provide assistance to the project team and the plant during new phases, start-ups and future industrial trials;
- Provide feedback to the polymer/resin process team and the Company in general;
- Promote the use and development of internal simulation and calculation tools;
- Collaborate with the Company's polymer product research and development as well as with networks of technologists and experts in the field;
- Monitor and interpret pilot and industrial trials;
- Draft a reference document to ensure the sustainability of the know-how within the Company
- Degree in general engineering or process engineering
- Good knowledge of project engineering
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in polymer or resin processes
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
- You will be required to travel extensively, sometimes for medium or long periods.
