MACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and nondiscrimination.Role Description: The successful candidate will work at MACOM European Semiconductor Center (Limeil-Brévannes) within the Advanced Process Development team, focusing on development, qualification, and transfer to production of next-generation Gallium Nitride and Gallium Arsenide 6-inch process platforms. Responsibilities include process development, continuous improvement, and close collaboration with Epitaxy, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Measurement teams. Strong judgment, semiconductor processing expertise, and a positive attitude are essential.Responsibilities:Develop, optimize, and transfer processes for GaN and GaAs technology on 6-inch wafers.Install and qualify equipment dedicated to the 6-inch process platform.Design and perform experiments to improve reliability, performance, and yields.Characterize experiments using metrology methods such as SEM, electrical, and material analysis.Design, layout, and analyze process test structures.Report experimental results to the team.Qualifications:At least 3 years of relevant experience in the microelectronics industry.Understanding of fabrication processes for GaN and GaAs-based MMIC devices.Proven problem-solving skills, project ownership, ability to meet deadlines, and multitasking.Experience with semiconductor fabrication techniques like plasma, lithography, electroplating, metals, grinding/polishing.CAD layout experience is desirable.Ability to document procedures, update processes, and train operators.Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Fluent in French and proficient in English communication.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.Additional Details:Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and ITIndustry: Semiconductors #J-18808-Ljbffr
