T&s Value Realization Tower Intern

The Transformation and Simplification Office (T&SO) drives execution with a value realization focus, supports each COMEX domain in design and implementation of transformational initiatives as a key priority for the coming years. The Value Realization Tower is part of the T&SO, and provides end-to-end support of Transformation & Simplification initiatives along their lifecycle, structure T&S governance and decision-making process, initiatives portfolio management and value realization tracking, and develop community of initiative owners. Under the direction of the Group Head of Value Realization Tower, support the VRT team in: - Consolidate and update initiative/project portfolio database/dashboards qualitatively and quantitatively - Quarterly initiative / project portfolio reporting preparation and the presentations - Assist in the production of the annual project demand process to Group COMEX - Provide support to the operational excellence workstream for topics related to projects (portfolio) - Support the team throughout the initiative / project life cycle, e.g., prepare resource analysis and background insights to help better understand the project’s objectives and needs during assessment sessions - For selected initiatives / projects: following up on open items, tracking issues, overseeing the completion of project tasks and monitoring adherence to "SCOR Project House" - Additional ad-hoc requirements from the team, e.g., project P&L impact analysis, the preparation of workshops’ slides (background, planning, financial impact analysis, information support), etc Use quantitative skills to manage data and build initiative / project portfolio reports and dashboards, assist VRT in the analysis and synthesis of different projects/phases - Prepare (sections of the) quarterly Initiatives Portfolio reporting, ensure its accurate and efficient delivery - Manage the amortization projection to help estimate and monitor the future yearly project expenses - Support Initiative owners and PMO management in the effective management of project(s): scope, time, quality, cost, resources, procurement, knowledge, and documentation - Participate in overseeing initiative/project implementation, team motivation, facilitates discussion, manages conflict resolution - Work closely with project teams to help provide efficient project management support - Work closely with business and IT functional areas in the organization - Produce advanced PowerPoint presentations for internal audiences of ad-doc topics/requirements - Provide research and analysis on a range of diversified topics - Initiatives / p roject administration and related support Master student from top Business School with solid project (portfolio) management skills - You have the affinity for Financial Services; a first experience in the reinsurance/insurance sector is a plus, but is not a prerequisite - A fast-self-learner, autonomous, rigorous, flexible; you enjoy teamwork and have a good sense of figures, analysis and presentation (i.e. Excel and PowerPoint) - You are proficient with Microsoft Office, and functional in Project management tools (Excel, Microsoft Project, etc.) - An excellent level of English is essential to ensure all missions and to intervene effectively in the international working environment; French is preferred but not mandatory SCOR, the 4th largest reinsurer in the world, provides insurance companies with a diversified and innovative range of solutions and services to control and manage risk.
