We are looking for a Requirements Engineer to work in Cadarache, France, on the Fusion for Energy (F4E) project.

**About the client and location**:
The ITER F4E project aims to build a fusion device, twice the size of the largest current devices, with the goal of demonstrating the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. It is a joint project between the European Union, China, India, Japan, South Korea and the USA. ITER will be constructed in Europe, at Cadarache, in the south of France.

You can get from the F4E site to the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence in 30 minutes by car. With Paris only 3 hours away and Lyon just over 1 hour, Aix-en-Provence is connected to the whole of France thanks to the TGV high-speed rail links to the Mediterranean and Europe (Direct to Brussels and Geneva, and with connections to London, Amsterdam, Cologne and Milan).

**Tasks and Activities**:
The scope of work will include:

- Supporting the Systems Engineering Group based Cadarache, in developing and implementing the Systems Engineering processes across F4E.
- Acting as the interface with Technical Project Officers (TPO) within F4E Projects.
- Supporting the development of Tracking and Monitoring Tools for Systems Engineering processes.
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the Configuration and Requirements management processes (mainly on DOORS).
- Supporting the TBM Programme, in particular the WCLL-TBS Project, to organize and correctly implement the systems engineering processes in the areas of Requirement Management, Interface Management and Configuration Management.

**Skills and Experience**:
The following skills and experience are mandatory:

- A University degree in Engineering, Science or Information Technology.
- At least three years of experience in total after the university degree, out of which a minimum number of years in one or more of the following technical areas:

- System engineering.
- Configuration management.
- Requirements management and verification.
- DOORS database or other requirements management and verification database.
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to write technical documents in English.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
- Ability to focus on priorities and organize work as well as to deliver on time to agreed standards.
- Service-oriented attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers’ representatives.
- Proven participation in System Engineering training.
- Minimum level independent user B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or equivalent.
