**Responsibilities**:
- Lead Safety team and provide guidance and work together with System, software and testing engineers on System concept and design
- Act as the lead customer interface to present Safety Engineering programs across the AD practice
- Develop secure, cutting-edge AV technologies by ensuring that driving systems were developed with safety-by-design and defence-in-depth in mind
- Drive cross-functional teams to consolidate detailed requirements and architecture specifications
- Develop Safety Engineering strategies for the development process and projects.
- Support the customer interaction, technical design reviews and business proposals
- Delivery of Functional Safety Artifacts & Requirements
- Creation of Vehicle Level Safety Goals Associated to AD/ADAS Features
- Decomposition of Vehicle Level Safety Goals to Sub-System/Components
**Mandatory Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or Systems Engineering
- 3 years in functional safety for automotive
- Safety directed Architecture & Design mindset
- Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508
- Proven track on development and implementation of safety concepts and safety analysis (FTA, FMEA, FMEDA, FTTI)
- Strong systems engineering background, experience of working in ASPICE process environment
- Good understanding of System and Safety Engineering and Hands on experience with FMEA, P-Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis
- Working with vendors and partners to ensure functional safety requirements are fulfilled by the components that they provide
- Create hazard assessment and risk analysis (HARA)
- Create and trace safety requirements
- Create and decompose safety architecture from system up to software level
- Platform level software safety implementation knowledge
- Application Software level safety implementation knowledge
- Software Safety analysis knowledge for multithreaded and multicore environment
- Support Functional Safety verification and validation plan
- Perform impact analyses in case of design changes from system concept are requested
- Experience in Safety Critical Product Development
- Certified functional safety engineer (TÜV or similar) is desirable
