**The Work You’ll Do**:
The Senior Director, European Partner Alliances will be responsible for the building out and management of the Channel across Europe. The role will be heavily focused on the recruitment and on-boarding of new impactful partners, as well as the management of legacy base of existing partners. Partners span across accounting firms, ISVs (NetSuite, Sap, Oracle), and system integrators/advisories with operations in Europe. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on builder; a sales-oriented partner leader that understands tax technology or ERP ecosystems, and that is excited to grow out a channel while managing a team and personally rolling-up their sleeves.
Partner business models include Embedded (Technology), resell, and referral of Sovos’ software and services offerings. Targets will include channel expansion along with bookings growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop a plan to recruit new partners in collaboration with other stakeholders to support Sovos GVAT Strategy
- Deliver new business bookings growth and meet agreed sales quotas by selling to, with, and through partner channels in collaboration with Sovos Direct Sales
- Actively engage with existing and new partners to build awareness about Sovos’ global compliance and business-to-government reporting solutions in order to significantly grow pipeline
- Conduct quarterly reviews with strategic partners to drive consistent productivity against agreed KPIs
- Educate and mobilize internal business partners to support key Alliances objectives
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
- Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth
- Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action
- Develop trust and model open, candid, respectful communication and collaborative teamwork
**What We Need From You**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Minimum 10+years of experience in channel sales or alliances including extensive experience in recruiting new partners
- Demonstrated success in SaaS channel sales preferred
- Demonstrated success building and leading a diverse software and services channel ecosystem to significant revenue growth
- Experience with enterprise ERP and/or tax technology ecosystems or complex business process outsourcing delivered through technology strongly preferred
