**Job Profile**:
**Role Purpose**:
- assists the Head of GB Coverage for Greece in the management of a portfolio of clients across Corporate, FIG and Public Sector with accountability for revenue origination, service to clients and risk management
- Ensures maximum profitability through the provisioning of high service standards and innovative product and service delivery to customers, working closely with Product and Sector teams, other Global Businesses (e.g. WPB) and the Functions (e.g. Risk, Legal, Operations etc.
- The jobholder will have an entity and functional reporting line into the Head of GB Coverage for Greece
- The role will be based in Paris
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted acquisition of new customers in line with strategy
- Assist the customer draw on the HSBC group network by working closely with other GB sites, product and sector groups
- Structure appropriate credit facilities for the customer and prepare annual and interim review submissions to credit in cooperation with the Credit Analysis Unit
- Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the Bank of Choice for international business of targeted market segments
- Deliver a healthy balance between Flow/Event revenues for the portfolio through active cross selling
- Maximize revenue, market share and return objectives without compromising the risk and credit quality of the business
- Actively promote the ESG agenda supporting clients with their transition plans and effectively manage the transition risk of the client portfolio
- Deliver a high quality service by owning customer engagement, striving for excellence in all interactions with customers and always act according to the highest professional standards
Requirements
**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related field
- Post Graduate degree in the above areas will be considered an asset
- Extensive experience in business development, sales management, and credit or equivalent experience in a corporate banking role
- Robust commercial lending, risk assessment, trade finance and cash management experience
- Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension
- Ability to work with product and sector teams in delivering creative and flexible customer solutions
- Track record of building & developing client relationships
- Proven record of proactively originating and executing event driven business
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge of both the Greek and English language, knowledge of the French language will be considered an asset
