**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Support activities around accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury and cash management.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and preparing variance analyses.
- Assist with external audits, including preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Research and analyze technical accounting issues and make recommendations for appropriate accounting treatment.
- Provide support to other members of the accounting and finance team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong technical skills in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Expert working within ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics365 preferred).
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP/IFRS and SOX.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- French and English required with German also preferred.
- Experience working within a private equity-backed company a plus.
- International and multi-location accounting experience a plus.
