**COMPANY: POLITICO** **POLITICO is looking for a Responsable RH/ HRBP (Paris) maternity leave cover for 5 months**to join our pioneering and growing media company and contribute to the POLITICO Media Group’s French expansion. As a member of the HR department, you have a central role in the company. You are passionate about people, their well-being, and are dedicated to contributing to a positive experience for your coworkers across Europe, but especially in France. You act as an ambassador for POLITICO’s culture and values and enjoy working with strategic and operational tasks in our fast-moving environment. **Your Role**: In this role, you would accompany POLITICO’s employees in France, as well as those of its sister company Drive Innovation Insights (DII), POLITICO Group’s B2B event agency. - Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding cycle for new joiners - Ensuring that the monthly payroll information is gathered - Ensuring a smooth employee lifecycle from start to finish (drafting contracts, handling sickness, maternity leave, etc.) - Providing first line advice to managers and employees on HR policies & employment law - Assisting with the recruitment process on site when needed - Organizing training and working on career development alongside the dedicated HR team - Being the "go-to person" for onsite employee well-being - Getting to know our excellent HR information system - it will make your HR life easier when you learn to master itParticipating in other HR projects with your teammates (process management, review and implementation of benefits, reporting, HRIS, office life experience) **Your Profile**: - A qualified HR professional with 3 - 5 years of experience in a previous HR role; experience in the media industry would be a plus - Experience with the following: - A good handle on French employment law - Drafting HR policies and other documentation - Handling payroll with an external provider - Employee relations - Accompanying managers on strategic employment queries - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command in French and English, any additional European language is a plus - A flexible, hands-on approach and a great sense of humorFully autonomous **We Value Our People** Our benefits package is built for you, and includes: - Hybrid work: Whether you love company and enjoy collaborating with colleagues in person or want some time alone at home to get some deep work done. - Work from abroad days: Fancy a workday from atop a mountain resort, or want to work from your parent’s dining room table around the holidays?
