Who are you?
You enjoy working on the ground, have a strong ability to lead and unite teams around production objectives
You possess excellent organizational, methodical, and planning skills, and you are comfortable in matrix organizations.
What’s the job?
As a Unit Manager, you will join our Production team within the Operations department at the Alfa Laval Moatti site. You will be responsible for the performance and development of your area. You will directly manage production operators. Your tasks will include:
- Ensuring the safety of people, processes, and manufactured/delivered products (safety, quality, delivery, cost).
- Ensuring the performance, development, and results of the unit, including financial responsibility.
- Setting objectives and tracking KPIs.
- Adjusting staffing to meet identified needs and participating in recruitment.
- Leading problem-solving and continuous improvement activities within the unit, including QRQC, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Developing skills (assessing training needs, setting goals, reviewing progress, conducting annual evaluations, etc.).
- Implementing and maintaining supply chain processes within the unit.
What you know?
With an engineering background or equivalent, you have solid experience as an operational manager.
You have already used continuous improvement tools and Lean Manufacturing (DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban).
Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
