**We are looking for**:

- In the context of this reorganization, Solvay is looking for a confirmed tax advisor for its activities to manage the French tax affairs and coordinate tax aspects in other EMEA countries.
- The position directly reports to the Head Tax of EMEA based in Brussels.
- The position is located in France (Lyon or Paris).

**We count on you for**:

- France will account for 1/5 of Solvay turnover with 5 industrial sites, 4 R&I centers and administrative plants.
- Areas of responsibilities:

- Primarily responsible for direct taxation (particularly CIT), tax audits (including international procedures), litigation, restructuring, corporate M&A, international taxation, VAT to a limited extent and review of tax returns
- And point of contact and tax coordinator for other EMEA countries
- The French Tax manager shall be able to interact with his/her tax counterparts (other tax managers, TP specialists), stakeholders within the Finance department (accounting, controlling, consolidation, treasury) and other departments of the Group (Legal, R&I, etc.).

**You will bring**:

- Education and experience:

- Master in French Tax law
- 4-6 years of experience (law firm and/or industry)
- Behavioral skills:

- Collaborative
- Pragmatic and result oriented
- Language skills:

- French mother tongue
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Spanish/Italian will be considered as an asset
