Engineering Controlling Manager

**Your mission, roles and responsibilities**:
The R&D Controller is involved in the controlling activities of several R&D tech centers and is the local business partner of operational teams in charge of programs development, dealing with different stakeholders (project managers, engineering teams, HR, Finance) located in France, Europe & Asia. She/He drives the processes to guarantee reporting accuracy, cost control and financial performance and competitiveness. The position requires some business trips to Caligny.

**Main responsibilities**:

- ** Ensure timely and reliable information provided during closing process.**:

- Prepares and follows P&L and cash forecast budget & forecast.
- Drive monthly closings with robust processes and while respecting BG timings.
- Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing proper finance information.
- Coordinates information with other departments (HR, engineering teams, other R&D sites controllers).
- Assess the compliance with internal controls policy, detect corrections to be performed and implement actions plans.

Prepares budget & forecast by department & for global function entitled**:

- Support department financial forecasting processes, prepares and validate budget with budget holder’s, ensure communication & action plans implementation when necessary.
- Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, and consistency.
- **
Support value creation, through business partnering**:

- Prepare financial analysis including efficiency, programs performance, budgetary control, CAPEX Return on investment
- Continuous improvement: contribute to the Finance roadmap (FP&A process improvement, digitalization ).

**Your profile and competencies to succeed**:

- Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or master’s degree in finance
- Min 5 years’ experience in controlling.
- Computer literate and good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, HFM)
- Solid accounting knowledge
- Strong teamwork
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English required.
