Then Restaurant Mo-Jo in Amsterdam is looking for you We offer a unique opportunity to work in a Chinese-Japanese restaurant, where you will learn the fine techniques of both Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

Whether you are a starting chef or already have some experience, we offer you the opportunity to further develop your culinary talents in an energetic and friendly working environment. We are open to motivated team members who want to explore the flavorful world of Asian cooking and learn from our experienced chefs.

**What do you bring as an Independent Chef I?**
- Performing preparatory kitchen tasks such as washing vegetables, cutting and filleting salmon, and slicing lamb chops and beef for the preparation of various dishes, working in a kitchen team of approximately 10 colleagues led by the head chef;
- Preparing and cooking dishes and carrying out interim quality and hygiene checks;
- Finishing and checking dishes for service, after which service staff take over the dishes for placement on heated chafing dishes;
- Planning daily kitchen activities and ordering food supplies and other inventory replenishments from regular suppliers, including checking delivered goods;
- Supervising kitchen assistants and providing guidance and instructions;
- Cleaning your own workstation, kitchen equipment, and machines daily before closing, and assisting kitchen staff with the overall cleaning of the kitchen and proper storage of delivered goods;
- Being a strong team player with a flexible attitude and good communication skills;
- Contributing to quality improvement and optimization, including menu development, recipe creation, and preparation instructions;
- Preferred qualifications: MBO level 3 or a comparable education with knowledge of basic cooking techniques.

**What do we offer you?**
- A gross salary between €2,500 and €3,000 based on a 38-hour workweek, in accordance with the Dutch Hospitality Collective Labor Agreement (Horeca CAO), including 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance;
- A temporary contract for a minimum of 1 year;
