We at restaurant Tandoori express, are looking for motivated Independent working chef for the preparation of Indian dishes, in the Netherlands,in the city of Amsterdam, Kinkerstraat 43-HS, 1053 DD.

**Job Description and Duties**:

- Independent working chef for the preparation of Indian dishes
- Location: Amsterdam
- Employment type: Full-time job / 38 hours per week
- Salary indication: €2400 gross per month excluding vacation pay
- Hospitality CAO (Collective Labor Agreement) compliant employment

- Perform preparatory work, such as washing, cutting, (pre)cooking, mixing,
- stirring, etc.
- Assess the quality of products/ingredients to be used (freshness, shelf life,
- etc.), prepare tools;
- Execute the preparations, monitor/control the quality, doneness, taste, color,
- liquidity, etc., and make adjustments/dosages;
- Prepare orders for serving by performing à la minute cooking tasks, portioning,
- and garnishing;
- Supervise the work of assistant(s), provide instructions and guidance;
- Ensure compliance with regulations in the areas of safety, occupational health,
- HACCP, and work and presentation methods (house style).

**Your Profile**:
**Knowledge and Significant Skills**
- MBO level 3 work and thinking level;
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques;
- Knowledge of products/ingredients and (the composition of) the menu.
