About TP ICAP

A world-leading intermediary in the wholesale financial and energy markets, Tullett Prebon seeks to maximise value for its clients' trading activities across voice, hybrid and pure electronic channels.

We offer broking services for a wide range of asset classes, including Equities, Credit, FX, Rates and Insurance Derivatives.

Across all asset classes, TP ICAP offers e-solutions to give clients the choice to enter prices and execute trades electronically and directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers to help identify and negotiate trades.

Role Overview

We are hiring an intern to join our Credit Research team in Paris, supporting global broking on a 6 month internship. You will gain direct, hands-on exposure to what a professional in this area would expect day to day.

Role Responsibilities- Understand TP ICAP’s overall business strategy and vision- Working with the Credit Research team on day to day tasks and project based assignments defined by your manager such as:
- Drafting Sector studies and issuer Credit Focus - specialising in several corporate and/or financial sectors,- Written and oral presentation of investment ideas on the credit market to the Credit sales brokers and clients,- Marketing & digital campaigns, assist in sale of credit research subscriptions.

Essential-
- Demonstrates drive and energy for growing the business- Leads and facilitates new thinking, evaluates new opportunities, ideas and identifies trends and clients- Able to demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism- Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive approach- Willingness to engage with internal and external stakeholders outside of the immediate desk environment

Desired- Understanding of Programming (specifically VBA/Python)- Motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their projects, with ability to take initiative and work autonomously- An eagerness to learn- A team player who is confident working in a fast-paced trading environment- Genuine interest in Financial Services Industry
