**Your role**
- Do you want to know more about the participants and dynamics of corporate finance and capital markets? You could have the opportunity to:
- understand how our clients, including (inter alia) corporates, institutions, private equity and governments, operate businesses and consider strategic objectives;
- be involved in and contribute to the teams providing M&A advice and execution, including spinoffs, takeovers, exchange offers, takeover defence and formation of joint ventures;
- get to know the markets through IPOs, capital raising and disposal/sale;
- interact with the equities platform to get an insight into the investor community views and trends;
- learn all about debt capital markets including corporate and emerging market bonds;
- gain familiarity with structured products tailored to our clients’ funding and stake management needs (including ESG); and
- learn how we analyse complex situations and develop the best strategy to maximize our clients’ diverse objectives.

**Your expertise**
- You need to be in the penultimate or final year of your degree, or recently graduated but no more than 6 months from the start date of the internship. In addition, you need to have or be on track for a 2:1 (UK grading system) or the equivalent in your first undergraduate degree
