- About the job_**: As a Scientistwithin our Process Engineering team, you'll develop and optimize drug substance processes through hands-on laboratory work, supporting the design of robust and scalable manufacturing solutions. - Design and execute laboratory experiments to support the development of robust and scalable small molecule drug substance (DS) processes
- Focus on optimizing key unit operations such as reactions, crystallizations, filtrations, and drying, ensuring efficiency, reproducibility, and product quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate lab-scale findings into scalable solutions for pilot and manufacturing environments
- Contribute to the simulation of chemical processes using modelling tools to predict performance and guide experimental design
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all laboratory activities
- Prepare technical summaries and contribute to internal reports and presentations _ About you_:
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in process development, chemical engineering, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Demonstrated experience with laboratory techniques relevant to pharmaceutical process development. Experience with scale-up and technology transfer preferred. Knowledge of GMP requirements and regulatory expectations preferred
- Soft and technical skills: Hands-on experience in laboratory-scale chemical process development. Familiarity with analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectroscopy) and laboratory instrumentation. Familiarity with chemical engineering process modeling tools. Strong team player with good communication and organizational skill. Knowledge of chemometrics or multivariate data analysis
- Language: English, experimented level required. Able to understand and interact in French
