**Summary / purpose of the position**
The global communications and public affairs team exists to lead and drive excellence in communications, public affairs, and patient advocacy within Ipsen, which together, build and protect the Ipsen brand and deliver the Group strategy to benefit our employees, patients, and society.
To advocate for our medicines in support of people affected by diseases where there is great need, we work to understand the external environment and the real issues to influence beliefs and behaviors by intentionally creating meaningful collaborations to bring about positive change.
As a member of the global communications team, you will participate in the day-to-day activities, such as supporting in ongoing external and internal communications projects, internal events organization and developing communications materials in different formats (articles, videos, newsletters ). You will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment and you will join forces with the global communications team in achieving our mission as key strategic partner for the organization.
We are looking for a passionate communicator who is creative and enthusiastic with energy and commitment. You are an excellent writer (in French and English) with outstanding planning and organizing skills who is eager to learn and work closely with a diverse and experienced team of professionals in all disciplines of external, digital and internal communications.
**Main responsibilities / job expectations**
Support Ipsen’s Global Communications strategy on:
- Coordination and organization of key internal events
- Internal video scripting and production (patient stories and translating Science)
- Prepare communications materials and key talking points for executive leaders
- English/French translation of corporate communications
- Nurture the work of the internal network of communication managers (Com’Unity), working closely with the country communications teams
- Basic desktop research/insights gathering to nourish broader communications strategy
**Knowledge, abilities & experience**
Education / Certifications/Experience:
- Enrollment in a BA or BSc degree in public relations, communications, or journalism
- Efficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with WordPress is a plus
- Excellent writing skills (English & French)
- Creative ability to design and deliver content in a simple and engaging way
- Organized, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Languages:
- English fluent
- French proficiency/native
**Key Technical Competencies Required**
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize respecting deadlines
- Sharepoint, Wordpress Content Management System or Lumapps experience is a plus
