Engineering Program Manager

**Your Mission**
- We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager to join the Engineering Program Management team at BlaBlaCar. Their mission is to facilitate & coordinate large, complex sets of projects that share a common objective spanning across multiple teams.

As an Engineering Program Manager, your role will be to drive cross-team programs and to improve our tools and processes we use in the Engineering and Product organisation. You will be reporting to Aurélien, Manager of the team, and working with a team of 2 other EPMs.

**Your responsibilities**
- In this role, you will mainly:

- Drive high-priority projects and set the pace to deliver regular progress
- Work with our different stakeholders (mainly Engineering Managers, Product Managers - but you may have to discuss with other stakeholders too) to plan the delivery of cross-team projects
- Relentlessly look for opportunities to improve the way we work, the tools we use and the process we have in the Engineering and Product organisation
- Be the agent of change to push for improvement on our Engineering and Product organisation

**Your qualifications**
- Project management: you are able to handle multiple different projects, at different states of progress or status
- Communication: you know how to communicate with very different stakeholders with varying degrees of understanding of our technology stack or knowledge of our product (from individual expert to VP managing dozens of people)
- Change management: we are always striving for improvement (at a project or at a larger level). You’ll need to know how to identify the right change and find the right way to implement it
- Full working proficiency in English

- Ability to take ownership, aligned with business priorities
- (Nice to have)_ Technical knowledge: a prior technical experience (such as being a software developer) is not required but you have to understand the big picture and the details (when relevant) of the projects you’ll work on
- _(Nice to have)_ Risk management: a part of our work is to assess the risks that come up with our projects and then deal with them (prioritise them, mitigate or share information about it)
