Contexte: Within the Risk Management & Supply cluster the Market Making desk provides Engie’s clients with risk management and liquidity across commodities markets including gas, power and environmental products. To manage these risks, the team covers fundamental analysis, building and executing trading strategies across the geographical markets in Europe. The market making desk is a cross-commodities desk, and this role will be more focused on European power markets. **Role**: - ** Help to improve fundamental models** - ** Help to improve real time trading models** - ** Provide analysis to design trading strategies** - ** Assist traders on operational tasks** **Hard skills**: - **Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment** - ** Self-motivated and result driven with a high level of initiative and creative problem solving** - ** Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize analysis into concrete trading strategies** - ** Excellent quantitative skills: Operation research (linear programming, constraint programming,) knowledge is a plus** **Education and professional background**: - ** Strong academic background, ideally from Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computing** - ** Experience in a commodity trading environment is a plus** - ** Power and gas markets fundamentals knowledge is a plus** **Languages**: - **English** **_If you meet these requirements, then you are the talent we are looking for.
