To strengthen the R&D programs within our company, we are looking for a:
**ANALYTICAL CHEMIST GC-MS (W/M)**

**Job description**

Under the responsibility ofthe laboratory head, your main missions are to:

- Manage the development and validation of analytical methods for pesticides and drugs with GC-MSMS system (particularly on water matrices)
- Elaborate the study design in connection with the client and conduct the study
- Analyze the results, write routine laboratory procedures and scientific reports
- Support Business Developer with technical information to define the new commercial services
- Manage technicians and apprentices
- Maintain lab equipment (perform routine maintenance, plan supplier interventions)
- Participate actively in the company quality system (indicators estimation, objectives follow up and audits)

**Your Profile**
- MSc in analytical chemistry or equivalent with at least 3 years of working experience
- Practical experience in sample preparation (Solid Phase Extraction, Derivatization ), in GC analysis and in method development/validation
- Technical experience in mass spectrometry is a plus ; experience with Thermo instruments (Trace1310, TSQ 9000) and software (Xcalibur, TraceFinder) is a plus
- Ability to plan and perform experiments autonomously
- Experience in interpretation and reporting of results
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Force of proposal and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills in English (oral and written) are highly valuable
