**About the Role**:
We’re assembling a new R&D team to develop a wireless link between drones and base stations. As the **FPGA Engineer**, you will own the design and implementation of the signal processing pipeline on FPGA. You’ll work closely with a hardware engineer and an embedded software engineer to deliver a robust, high-performance system.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design and implement FPGA-based digital signal processing blocks (e.g., OFDM modulation/demodulation, FFT, downsampling)
- Conduct detailed feasibility studies, simulations, and system-level analyses
- Develop testbenches, validate signal processing pipelines, and troubleshoot performance issues
- Collaborate closely with hardware and embedded teams to ensure smooth integration
- Drive development from prototyping to production, with a focus on robustness and low-latency performance.
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in FPGA development (VHDL, Verilog)
- Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts
- Experience in developing and validating FPGA systems
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
- Problem-Solving: Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals - from junior members to senior executives.
