**Global Head of Private Debt for PRIME**, and you will be part of
**AXA IM PRIME business unit**.

The Private Debt VP is able to source, implement and deliver investments across the Private debt asset class including fund investment, co-investment and potentially secondary trading, under the responsibility of the managing director responsible for the private debt deployment.

Your role and responsibilities will include:
**AXA IM Prime business set-up**
- Contribute to the product offering for AXA IM Prime fund/co-investment and secondary products and work alongside AXA IM Prime structuring team to set-up the relevant funds (commingled, bespoke and AXA dedicated)
- Contribute to building a best-in-class reporting tool that fits with AXA and third-party requirement
- Sector fundamental and opportunities screening
- Perform a fundamental analysis of the private debt market segments and drivers. A specific focus will be made on corporate, commercial real estate and infrastructure debt. The latter will be a joint work with AXA IM Prime infrastructure team
- Review market developments to identify sectors (such as healthcare), asset managers and investments to be considered primarily on fund and co-investment but potentially on secondary trades as well
- Determine to what extent an investment would fit with portfolio construction objectives
- Understand ESG impact of investments and fit with AXA IM Prime targets in relation thereto will form part of the analysis
- Share outcome of findings with rest of the team and making recommendation based on a first assessment of opportunities

**Deal execution**
- Lead due diligence of asset managers alongside with a view to drafting committee papers and making a recommendation to AXA IM Prime and AXA investment committees
- Lead closing of the investment working closely with AXA IM Prime legal/tax and structuring team to efficiently wrap investment opportunities
- Review co-investment opportunities proposed by third-party asset managers and make recommendations as relevant and lead the co-investment process until close
- Possible involvement in secondary trades as we grow the franchise and depending on the evolution of the private debt secondary market
- Understand regulatory component of the investment liaising with the relevant departments
- Closely monitor of investments made including performance and portfolio construction monitoring and perform an adequate reporting

**Client relationship, reporting and fund raising**
- Active interaction with AXA GIA and the private market COE more in particular including in relation to investment performance, market views
- Contribute to the fund raising effort alongside AXA IM Prime sales team including helping identifying client, pitch preparation, and client meeting attendance
- Perform control over reporting tool to ensure accuracy of data reported
- Monitor portfolio and asset performance
- Contribute to AXA IM Prime Private Debt fund of funds management
- Contribute to producing regular reporting documents (at least on quarterly basis) using AXA IM Prime reporting tool and asset managers reporting tool. Such reports will be shared with AXA IM Prime clients
- Feed AXA IM Prime CRM tool to ensure real time information flow

**Your qualifications and experience**:

- Master's degree in Engineering (with applied finance) or Economics degree
- Fluency in written and spoken English; French a plus

**Your knowledges and skills**:

- At least 5-8 years of experience in structuring and/or investing in private assets and/or private assets financing
- Good knowledge of asset management environment
- Good knowledge of insurance companies' investment constraints is a plus
- Strong team orientation with capacity for intensive independent work
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong writing and presentation capabilities
- Emphasis on quality of analysis for clients
- Excellent Relationship management
