Ground Crew Instructor

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

For the future training center for the Franco-German C-130J transport aircraft fleet in Évreux, we are currently looking for an Ground Crew Instructor (M/F/d) to provide training for technical ground personnel on our training simulators. In this role your are responsible to conduct training and examinations on theoretical and practical level for the technical personnel to be trained, as well as assisting in the identification and assessment of training requirements and needs.

Your tasks:

- Prepare, conduct and follow up training and examinations for the technical personnel to be trained based on aviation regulatory and customer requirements
- Assist in the identification and assessment of future and current training requirements and needs for the training of C-130J technical personnel in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, as well as customer requirements
- Support the Head of Training in the preparation of an overall or individualized training and development plan, and its coordination with the international project partners
- Report specific issues and adjust training programs as needed and based on contractual client requirements to the Head of Training
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed B1 or B2 type training course for the aircraft type C-130 or completed type rating course C-160 Transall
- 5 years maintenance experience of which at least 2 years experience on aircraft type C-130 or C-160 Transall
- Part-66 license with the relevant type rating for C-130 or C-160 Transall
- Understanding of the relevant procedures and regulatory requirements of civil and military aviation training requirements
- Professional experience, preferably in a technical/teaching assignment would be beneficial, as well as familiarity with traditional and modern training methods
- Very good communication and leadership skills
- Strong writing and documentation skills in relation to reports and training manuals
- Confident in the use of computers and databases
- Experience in an international working environment is an advantage
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
