Position Summary This key role will have prior experience working through complex business problems with internal teams using a consultative approach. The role requires excellent communications, presentation skills and be able to work with ambiguity and having the ability to define, think creatively, and to tackle problems. What you will do - Passionate storytelling and bringing data to life by partnering with key stakeholders. - Engage and build models to identify critical financial touch points and economics in the client journey to maximize efficiencies or identify new opportunities. - Contribute and own the financial analytics roadmap and prioritization by partnering closely between analytics, Finance, and data engineering teams. - Working closely with the finance team to understand metric sensitivity, financial platforms, forecasting variance and other business end-to-end performance indicators. - Perform Ad-hoc requests such as client retention, client behaviors or segmentation, or contract and pricing strategies, or trading performance analysis. - Convey advanced analytical techniques into concise and persuasive insights and recommendations for audiences of all levels. What you will bring - Relevant Master's or PhD degree in any of the following fields: Machine Learning or computer science, statistics, mathematics with strong understanding of ML components. - Solid understanding of fundamental Machine Learning models and techniques, advanced analytics and statistical methods to solve business problems. - 8+ years of work experience in a business environment with a financial background. - Passionate storytelling and articulation by bringing data to life - Strong programming background and expertise in using SQL, Python and R. - Mastery in consolidating project requirements and building prototypes using Tableau (or similar). - Skillful in influence and relationship management skills; comfortable interacting across all levels of stakeholders. - Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle ambiguity. - Sharp focus on results and strong attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communications.
