The Role

The Strategic Project Leader position at CMA CGM is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to international and challenging projects across the Group.

CMA CGM is growing across various businesses and geographies at a very rapid pace and is heavily investing in innovation, digitalization and decarbonization, leading to exciting new projects. Achieving our ambitious goals require highly organized, adaptable and dedicated project leaders.

As a Strategic Project Leader, you will get involved in a wide variety of strategic projects across multiple businesses and geographies.

You will be part of the CEO Office and reporting to the General Inspection, whose overall responsibilities include advisory and support in the Group transformation.

The role is a great stepping stone within the firm for ambitious individuals who want to grow further in various locations worldwide

**Responsibilities**:
**Guarantee impactful project delivery**:

- You participate in framing projects, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables
- You oversee project progress, ensuring day-to-day efficient delivery while upholding the Group’s standards
- You work cross functionally to gather momentum and key data to drive projects forwards
- You ensure accurate follow-up and documentation of the project, including scope, budget, resource allocation, ROI measures
- You propose strategic and operational solutions to unlock project delivery

**Ensure the link between operational teams and Top-Management**:

- You provide financial and operational reports to the CEO Office and to Executives
- You execute the strategic business vision operationally

**Develop yourself and others**:

- You keep up with industry trends to be able to navigate and understand various conversations with ease
- You deploy best practices, new tools or approaches whenever relevant

Qualification and Profile
- Master degree from a top-tier institution
- Minimum of 4/5 years’ experience within an international and challenging environment dealing with strategic projects, ideally in a leading consulting firm
- Previous experience in leading operational projects is a plus, especially post-merger integration projects
- International mindset and exposure, ready to potentially work abroad for long periods
- Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire and motivate team members
- Excellent organizational skills, with good attention to details
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels of the organization
- Highly adaptable and flexible in changing environments,
- Proven problem solving skills and capacity to bring value and propose meaningful solutions
- Fluency in French and English
- Willing to learn and grow within the firm
