**Subject: Test PIL environment modelling**
**Context**:
Hitachi Astemo is one of the major actors on brake development market. At Hitachi Astemo several innovative braking systems are developed for international automotive industries. As part of the autonomous vehicle development program, the software department is developing the Automatic Parking Brake which is based on electromechanical system controlled by an advanced control function.
**Your mission**:
Applicable process: SWE5 (SW integration and SW integration tests)
Your goal is to create a PIL test environment for the SW, based on system architecture.
To achieve this target, you will perform the following tasks:
- Understand the existing MIL
- Analyse result of previous tests
- Model the different elements of the System under test and develop the communication between those elements
- Design and set up a PIL test bench to perform testing
- Analyse and debug test results
- Create documentation as guidelines and how to use
- Execute tests to verify the efficiency of this model
**Your profile**:
- Embedded system engineering degree, Mechatronics
- Knowledge on Bus communication and μCs
- Knowledge in Embedded C programming
- Motivated, involved, rigorous, autonomous & open minded
- Good control of Office pack (Excel, Word & PowerPoint),
- Technical English, French is recommended.
**Tools / Framework**:
- Tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Matlab/Simulink, CAN Bus, CAPL
- Work within software development team,
- 6 months internship,
- Supervision: 1 engineer.
