**Job**

**Your Mission**
The Head of Cayenne Operations will lead all
Operations for Marlink in French Guiana (including
antenna maintenance, curative, and Preventive
maintenance of technical installations of the
cayenne teleport as well as operations on remote
sites)

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Privileged access point for service

providers, other services, and management
on the perimeter for which it is responsible.
- Operational and functional reporting on the

activity for which he is responsible.
- Preventive and corrective maintenances

antennas, tracking, frequency converters,
amplifiers, and corollary devices.
- Ensure level 1 preventive and curative

maintenance on the equipment making up
the technical environment, in particular:

- Energy generation, transformation, and

distribution equipment
- Air conditioning equipment
- Fire detection equipment
- Extinguishing and fire-fighting

equipment
- Remote management equipment
- Access control equipment
- Ensure the recurring tasks of operating the

facilities.
- Implementation of new installations and

patches.
- Ensure the recurring operating tasks

facilities.
- Implementation of new facilities and

patches.
- Monitoring Quality of Service indicators
- Contributes to the production of monthly

statistics for the dashboard of his division.
- Writing and follow up of operational

procedures and maintenance programs.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting client?related dysfunction of perimeter systems.
- Responds to requests for information

antennas, their peripheral equipment,
mobile, from different departments.
- Participates in staff training integrating the

team and other people, at the request of
the management.
- Involved in the management of spare parts.
- Participates in the shipment repair and

monitoring of faulty equipment.
- Contribute to the management of

measuring devices and tools.
- Contributes to the update documentation

of telecommunication satellite systems and

their peripheral systems.
- Participation in on-call round the entire

perimeter: response and resolution of

problems and timely participation in the

scheduled jobs.
- Time to time support of workmates during

non-working hours on site or by phone if

needed.

**Professional Skills**
- Good knowledge of space communication
- Good knowledge of Power Amplifiers: SSPA,

SSPB, BUC,HPA,...
- Good knowledge of RF Reception

amplifiers: LNB,LNA,Switch.
- Good knowledge of RF chains and RF

equipment.
- Control of RF measurement equipment and

associated measuring techniques
(spectrum analyzer, power meter,
synthesizer, network analyzer...)
- Good knowledge of office tools (Microsoft

office)
- Good analytical skills.

**Educational Qualification & Interpersonal**
**Skills**:

- Master’s degree in engineering or relevant

experience in similar environment.
- French and English fluent (other local

languages is a plus)
- Sense of responsibility developed.
