Principal Integrated Solutions Architect R&D - Solution Design - All genders

This is a global Architect position who is reporting to the “Data / IT & Integrated Solutions” R&D Solution Design Senior Director.

“Integrated Solution” is the bioMerieux suite of products & components that are flexible & scalable for the customer inside or outside the lab bringing synergies to create a common solution with added value. The current scope of Integrated Solutions includes FlexPrep, AES, Common platform, connectivity, bmxlib (showcase) and Computer & Peripherals (C&P). However, the scope will continue to evolve to take into accounts any environment changes or new customer needs.

**What are your responsibilities ?**
- Define AES / Flex Prep and other future SW User Core Assets Architecture that will meet customer expectations for user experience and easy deployment for the field. Define in details interfaces with Systems involved to precisely identify future impacts of evolution.
- Define SW Common Platform, Connectivity, C&P and future technical SW core assets Architecture that will increase flexibility of usage by the systems while allowing seamless & robust updates & patches.
- Animate R&D Architects community to foster User & Technical SW Core Assets usage while maintaining guidelines to define R&Rs when those SW components are used
- Define SW Core Assets Roadmap to meet the above objectives in collaboration with involved “Data & IT Integrated Solutions” Program / Project Manager(s)
- Participate in R&D Project Architecture Reviews when SW Core Assets are being part of the overall Instrument SW of the product
- Define C&P HW and Operating System (OS) future Architecture to foster products adoption
- Animate C&P representatives community to foster HW & OS harmonization across Products
- Participate to Enterprise Architecture Definition / Review with IS when R&D “Integrated Solutions” Project(s) are involved
- Keep track of new technologies and trends that could impact SW Core Assets and C&P evolutions.

**What is your profile ?**
- 5+ years minimum experience as a SW Architect
- Required technical skills : JAVA, Angular, Mirth Connect
- Knowledge in BioMerieux Microbiology current suite of SW such as Vitek 2, Vitek MS, MAESTRIA, FlexPrep is a plus
- Strong collaboration mindset, experience in technical community animation
- Very good interpersonal skills : active listener and relationship building
- Very good communicator, both verbal and written, to engage, influence and get buy-in globally from his/her different internal key stakeholders
