Principal Data Architect R&D - Solution Design - All genders

This is a global Architect position who is reporting to the “Data / IT & Integrated Solutions” R&D Solution Design Senior Director.

This position is mainly interfacing with the various R&D Core Teams managed by Portfolio Program & Project - R&D “Data / IT & Integrated Solutions” organization and R&D Development Teams across R&D Clinical as well as Global IS Teams.

**What are your responsibilities ?**
- Define the Data Collection / Transfer / Catalog technical guidelines & rules of implementation to be used by R&D projects Teams while ensuring cyber security, compliance and mínimal support for operations by design (including but not limited to IS Data lake feed)
- Animate R&D Data Producers & Users community in collaboration with IS to ensure definition, evolution and adoption of those above common technical guidelines
- Define the priorities to comply with these guidelines ; in collaboration with the products involved,
- Participate in R&D Project Architecture Review when Data are collected / transferred or used with “end to end” vision from bMx Products to IS Systems when relevant
- Be the primary R&D contact for “Data” Architecture with his/her IS counterpart
- Define interfaces and operating models with IS and other departments to allow data usage for final internal customers while respecting design control / SOP and regulations when applicable
- Foster the exchange of data inside of R&D and between R&D and other departments by defining clear interfaces between the different stakeholders
- Participate to Enterprise Architecture Definition / Review with IS when R&D “Data” Projects are involved
- Keep track of new technologies and trends in “Data” platform computing to possibly integrate within bMx IT Solutions
- Maintain vigilance about data compliance regulations and possibly integrate within bMx IT Solutions when relevant

**What is your profile ?**
- 5 years minimum experience as a data engineer or equivalent
- Required technical skills in data lakes, data warehouses, ETL, SQL, Structured &Unstructured data, Encryption, Anonymization, HIPPAA / GDPR, Snowflake, Databricks or other data platform, Analytics
- Intermediate AWS architecture skills (as part of your missions you will be required to pass AWS Certificates Solution Architect Associate & Data Engineer Associate)
- Strong collaboration mindset, experience in technical community animation
- Very good interpersonal skills : active listener and relationship building
- Very good communicator, both verbal and written, to engage, influence and get buy-in globally from his/her different internal key stakeholders
