Alice&Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.

The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously

We are at the forefront of the quantum race, competing with tech giants such as Google or IBM. We are growing fast, securing 30 million USD of funding in 2022 to develop our unique technology.

Industrialization Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship starting in January/February 2025and ending in June/July 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the industrialization of quantum computing hardware by supporting the development and optimization of data acquisition and analysis tools.

As part of our industrialization team, you will collaborate closely with the

nanofabrication, infrastructure & screening, software, and product teams to

analyze data from our nanofabrication and measurement processes. Your

insights will directly impact the development of our quantum devices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Industrialization Engineer responsible for nanofabrication data analysis and interpretation.
- Work with cross-functional teams (nanofabrication, infrastructure & screening, microwave, software) to ensure the accuracy of generated data.
- Assist in developing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process workflows.
- Contribute to the implementation of automation solutions, such as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Implement data analysis routines and prepare weekly reports on findings and progress.
- Support the management of foundry service collaborations to validate devices fabricated by external partners.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in engineering (final year) or a master’s program (2nd year) in General Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data analysis, nanofabrication and characterization.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software such as JMP and Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
- Knowledge of industrialization processes, lean manufacturing, and process optimization techniques is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and processesis an asset
