- WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
You will be the sales liaison between nVent HOFFMAN and the assigned Key accounts, mainly focused on the energy industry, while ensuring a positive relationship is maintained and the business needs of all parties are met.

This is a remote office role, ideally based in France or the United Kingdom. The position includes approximately 50% travel within Europe; regular overnight trips are expected.
- Coordinate end-customer calls and visits to develop and increase sales, negotiate contracts and drive product & system sales to support established price strategies
- Be a great partner for the customers to understand their requirements and develop an appropriate solution(s) to best meet their needs.
- Work with the regional and global teams to set the overall engagement and growth strategy.
- Continuously scan for prospects with Key Accounts and related entities, take the lead with implementing account penetration strategies, and assist at all stages by following through the process until the order closes.
- Provide new business opportunity and sales pipeline updates to management and/or via Salesforce on account and conversion status of target accounts on a regular basis.
- Understand current industry relationships and partnerships with customers and distributors and maintain knowledge of competitors’ activities
- Attend industry events such as tradeshows, seminars, conferences, and webinars to continuously develop a network with OEMs, System Integrators and, Value Added Resellers.
- Act as Voice of customer liaison between the field and support functions
- Identify and assess potential new customers through the use of project mining tools (such as LinkedIn Navigator).
- YOU HAVE:

- Bachelor’s degree is required - technical field such as Engineering is preferred
- Ideally, 7+ years of experience, and previous exposure to an electrical/automation environment is a plus.
- Proficient with Salesforce usage & working knowledge of Microsoft Office package is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- You are self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with high energy
