As part of the plant leadership team, the Continuous Improvement Manager plays a key role in driving performance, efficiency, and engagement across the Matougues site._**
**_This position acts as a facilitator and change leader, ensuring that global CI initiatives are successfully translated and adapted to local challenges and opportunities._**
**What you’ll be doing.**
- _You lead and deploy Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies (MDI, PDCA, 5S, SMED) across the site._
- _ You foster a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to identify and implement process enhancements._
- _ You coach and support production and support functions in problem-solving and cost reduction projects._
- _ You lead and monitor cross-functional improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with plant strategy._
- _ You facilitate the translation of global CI standards into site-relevant practices._
- _ You manage and develop a small team (CI Engineer, Training Manager, Apprentice)._
- _ You contribute to the plant’s energy performance and productivity improvement plans._
- _ You are an active member of the site leadership team, collaborating closely with all departments._
**What you’ll need to be successful.**
- _Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field._
- _ 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing or continuous improvement roles._
- _ Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles (Green Belt certification preferred)._
- _ Proven ability to coach, lead, and influence across all levels of an organization._
- _ Experience working in a medium-sized industrial site, ideally in the food or process industry._
- _ Ability to balance strategic vision with operational pragmatism._
- _ Fluent in French and comfortable communicating in English (meetings with leadership)._
- _ Positive, engaging, and collaborative personality — someone who creates connection and energy within teams._

**About the team**.**
- You’ll report directly to the Plant Director and be part of the Matougues Leadership Team (13 members)._
- You’ll lead a team of three (1 CI Engineer, 1 Training Manager, 1 Apprentice) and collaborate daily with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain departments._
- The current CI Manager will remain until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding._
