We are looking for a **Civil Oil and Gas Engineer **for one of our clients with the following details:
**Location: Paris, France**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**Contract Duration: 12 months - Renewable: Yes**

**Status: residential**

Qualification and Experience Required:

- Degree: Chartered Civil Engineer with proven experience.
- Professional experience: several years of proven experience in the EPSCC phase of LNG projects.
- Fluent English is mandatory.

Missions:

- Responsible for all matters related to civil, geotechnical and HVAC engineering, fit for purpose and with the statement of requirements with approved modifications.
- Prepare and suggest the technical content of the studies essential to initiate the action of the EPC contractor and compliance with the state of the art in the design of LNG plants.
- Supervise all subcontracted studies and provide support to other batches with the support of the specialist headquarters.
- Ensure that civil, geotechnical, and HVAC design choices take into account the constructability, operability, and flexibility of facilities.
- Propose recommendations on technical waiver requests and maintain documentation related to civil, geotechnical and HVAC disciplines.
- Propose recommendations on requests for technical deviations and maintain documentation related to civil/geotechnical and HVAC disciplines.
- Participate in required studies as required.
- The incumbent will be supported by 1 Geotechnical Engineer and 1 HVAC Engineer.
- Communicates and enforces the company's H3SE policies.
- Lead the review of the CONTRACTOR's key deliverables such as: Review of civil/geotechnical and HVAC purchase orders;
- Provides technical assistance to the project for audit techniques;
- Participate, in coordination with others, in the preparation and execution of inspection and testing plans.
- Ensure that HVAC equipment is commissioned and started in accordance with detailed technical documentation and in accordance with the supplier's recommendations.
- Ensure, through effective monitoring, that the applicable reference framework is complied with.
- Actively participates in the proper management of interfaces with Processes, Safety, Rotation, Electricity, etc. Studies carried out during the EPSCC phase
- Review and comment on the main technical documents of interfacing disciplines such as processes, safety, electricity, rotating machinery, etc. as well as project procedures, if necessary.
- Participates in the HAZID, PR project.
- Participate in weekly internal engineering meetings.
- Provide technical input to any contractual discussions with the EPC contractor.
- Call/participate in interface coordination activities and ensure that synergies are developed between different entrepreneurs.
- Ensure design validity and consistency with other disciplines and across LNG facilities.
