Research Technician - Delivery Systems - Your future position?

As a Research Technician in the Fragrance Delivery System Platform, you are part of the Global Science and Tech-nology department. Our expertise in micro-encapsulation systems is used in different consumer goods such as de-tergents, softeners and cosmetics. Located in the European Center of Fragrance Creation based in Argenteuil, the main role of our Fragrance Encapsulation Laboratory is to innovate by creating new capsules and understand their properties.

In this exciting role, reporting to an experienced Research Scientist in the Discover & Explore research team, you will:
- Be part of a multidisciplinary research environment, interacting with other groups and departments within the organisation.
- Perform upstream research activities by designing new fragrance capsule technologies and em-ploying new analytical and physical chemical characterization methods using innovative approaches.
- Support Scientists by performing routine laboratory procedures, data collection, interpretation and communication through written summaries and reports.
- Identify and set up of new analytical and physical chemical methods for capsules characterization.
- Conduct capsules feasibility, stability and performance tests in close collaboration with the fragrance creation and development teams.
You?
**Your professional profile includes**:
- Graduated in Chemistry or Physical Chemistry
- Prior experience in polymer synthesis and colloidal science, as well as physical chemical characterisation.
- Prior experience in operating advanced laboratory instruments and its associated software..
- Strong analytical skills, good knowledge of statistical analysis is a plus.
- Organized, flexible and dynamic, adherence to best practices concerning laboratory safety..
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent French and good English skills (written and oral)
