**Job Summary**:
As a Senior Application Engineer and Senior Consultant, you will:

- **Be** part of the field operation team in tied collaboration with sales team.
- **Help** R&D centers to accelerate their innovations
- **Coordinate** technical** **conversations with Altair experts
- **Increase student awareness **via Altair Academic Program
- **Serve** as the primary technical consultant accountable for actively driving and managing the technical evaluation
- **Learn **continuously new skills and share knowledge with customers.
- **Demonstrate Altair’s solution** from simulation to data analysis and Artificial Intelligence
- **What You Will Do**:

- **Provide a high level of technical support** to customers in R&D centers, ensuring high quality and timely customer service.
- Use domain knowledge and technical product knowledge to qualify opportunities, analyze technical needs, **understand customer’s current challenges, and propose improvements to their R&D workflows.**:

- **Build valuable long-lasting, trusted-based relationships** with Altair’s existing and future clients.
- Be the “Voice of the customer” and **work with our software development team to guide future product** **development.**:

- **Work closely with the Sales Team and other stakeholders, **t hroughout the sales cycle and execute customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations to increase collaboration with the customer.
- Active participation in marketing events and **deliver compelling demonstrations of Altair’s solutions to add value to a customer’s business.**:

- **Provide customers with training on Altair’s products** and personalized support

***What You Will Need**:
**Basics**:

- **A minimum of 3 to 5** **years of experience using CAE and modeling solutions** in an engineering environment.
- **Multidisciplinary knowledge in simulation, **considering several physics.
- **Ability to work on multiple projects **which are complex in nature and across diverse teams and locations.
- Eager to learn and share knowledge with **passion**:

- **Curiosity or first experience in AI**, digital twin or reduce order modeling (ROM) will be appreciated.
- Willingness and **ability to travel to customer sites** (mainly in France, occasionally worldwide).
- **Altair Branding promotion** and strong business acumen.
- **Sales awareness & attention to details** **.**:

- Self-motivation and **strong organizational skills** **.**:

- **Empathy **and teamworking skills.
- **Fluent in French mandatory** with good oral and written communication skills in English****:

- **Be flexible and agile **in working method to embrace changes and to be able to adapt quickly to new situations

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of research environment in France
