**R-PASS Operateur SAS** is shaping the future of transportation in Alsace by implementing a cutting-edge kilometer-based charging system for Heavy Goods Vehicles. We’re seeking a highly skilled **Senior Accountant** to strengthen our Finance Department and ensure the financial backbone of our operations runs smoothly.

**About Us**

R-PASS was appointed by the **Collectivité d’Alsace** to manage road tax collection for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes in the region. Backed by global leaders **T-Systems** and **GEA**, we combine decades of expertise with the agility of a startup to operate as an undisputed leader in road charging systems.

**Your Role: What You’ll Do**

Reporting directly to the Management, you will:

- Lead the accounting team and oversee daily operations effectively and proactively.
- Supervise and analyze accounting data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and statements.
- Ensure fiscal, VAT, and other declarations are accurate and submitted on time.
- Reconcile French financial statements in IFRS presentation.
- Monitor company profitability and liquidity, providing insights to guide decision-making.
- Support budget and forecast planning, aligning financial strategies with company goals.

**Your Profile: What We’re Looking For**

We’re looking for a detail-oriented financial professional with a strong strategic mindset:
**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
- At least **5 years of experience** in a senior accounting or similar position.
- Expertise in **FR-GAAP** and **IFRS**.
- Proficiency in **SAP** and **MS Office** (particularly Excel).
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with experience in financial modeling.
- Fluent in **French** (native/excellent) and **English** (advanced). Knowledge of German is a plus.
