Finance Manager

Most tools in the market are built for big private equity companies and often use legacy technology. At Edda, we see that these tools need to adapt to a rapidly changing market. When you have different teams using different softwares working in conjunction, time is wasted through inefficiencies as the various technologies aren't compatible. This means there is an increased risk of losing data, there is a delay for retrieving information, communication becomes complicated and you lose sight of the bigger picture.

**Finance Manager at Edda**:
As our Finance Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the management team to expand our financial operations and oversee our budgets. You'll be responsible for managing finances across our 3 entities in France, the US, and Serbia.

**Here's what you'll be responsible for**:
**Finance Operations**
- Managing the quote-to-cash process, working collaboratively with Sales & CSM teams (or Revenue team) to streamline sales administration.
- Managing the procure-to-pay process for supplier invoices.
- Collaborating with our accounting team to complete administrative tasks and provide information to deliver financial statements on time
- Improve and automate our financial processes in order to support our growth.
Current Finance stack: Pennylane, Quickbooks, Bill, Excel (or Google Sheets)

**Financial Reporting**
- Calculating, monitoring, and reporting relevant SaaS KPIs (churn rate, burn rate, CAC, etc.).
- Supporting our Revenue team by calculating compensation plans.
- Creating financial dashboards and sharing your findings internally.

**Financial Planning & Analysis**
- Creating revenue and expense forecasts to monitor our cash runway.
- Negotiating supplier contracts and finding ways to optimize expenses.
- Exploring dilutive and non-dilutive financing options to expand runway (R&D tax credit, debt financing, RBF, etc.).

**You may be a fit for this role if you have**:

- Previous experience in audit, or you have already worked as a Finance Officer in a startup (strong interest in B2B SaaS is a plus).
- A builder mentality and curiosity to find new tools to improve financial processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Comfortable with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Native English speaker or very good level in English
