Join Our Startup Mission
We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development & Marketing Specialist to help us connect with local customers and build the foundation for our platform in France. This position is part of the AIBILL project, a startup development initiative supported by #**Inria_Start_Up_Studio**. The development will be supervised by Kirubakaran Ramamoorthy, Research Engineer at Inria. The role is open for immediate hiring, as soon as HR processes allow, with a strong potential to continue with the startup that will emerge from this project.
**#Main_Activities**:
- Engage and interview local customers to understand their challenges and demonstrate the value of our digital platform.
- Develop relationships with small businesses to onboard them onto the platform.
- Conduct market research to gather insights and identify opportunities in the French retail sector.
- Collaborate with our tech team to translate customer feedback into actionable improvements.
- Drive outreach campaigns and promote our platform to target customers.
- Help shape and refine our marketing strategies as we grow.
**#Skills_Expected**:
- Business level fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interested in or experienced with B2B marketing and sales.
- Passionate about helping small businesses adapt to digital solutions.
- Familiarity with retail operations or e-commerce is a plus.
- A self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Open to beginners eager to learn and grow in business development and marketing.
