**Service Engineer Marine & Ports M/F/d**:

Following a specific internal training program of varying length, depending on your initial skills, you will carry out general technical assignments/interventions with a predominantly electrical focus on board ships and in ports. These assignments may involve inspection, commissioning, preventive maintenance, testing or overhaul. Reporting to the Division's Local Manager, this position involves frequent travel (70%) in France and abroad.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Offer exceptional professional services, on site or remotely, in major categories including installation and commissioning, maintenance, repair, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and modernizations, end-of-life services and replacements.
- Exceed customer expectations by identifying and anticipating their current and potential needs.
- Troubleshoot potential equipment failures and take proactive measures to remedy/prevent them, and inform internal partners.
- Coordinate the logistics of resources and spare parts for all on-site interventions.
- Identify and develop potential sales and business opportunities based on customer knowledge and collaboration within ABB.
- Suggest product and process improvements within the company to enhance operations and customer service.
- Embody ABB's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while supporting your colleagues and the company.

**Your background**:

- At least 2 years of higher education in industrial field - Electrical/Electrotechnical.
- Fluent English and French - written and spoken.
- Beginner accepted, ideally with experience in industrial maintenance on electrotechnical equipment (variable speed drives, transformers, circuit breakers, rotating machines).
- Good knowledge and practical experience in maintenance, servicing, commissioning and repair.
- Observation skills, rigorous, methodical and astute,
- Ability to adapt to all situations, even the urgent and unexpected.
- Willingness to travel frequently in France and abroad.
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
