Human by nature.- The Project Manager will lead and direct capital investment Projects (up to a 5 million budget) as assigned by the Regional BP and CapEx/PM Lead, often requiring considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. He/She will formally report to Regional ENG BP with a dotted line to CapEx/PM lead but will report to the Steering Committee for the duration of the assigned project(s).**Type of project assigned**:site investment, new process developments, strategic local initiatives**Main responsibilities**:
**People management**:

- Assemble and manage the project team (internal, and external resources)
- Animate and coordinate the performance of the project team members
- Monitor project team performance and complete performance reviews

**Function management**:

Drive day-to-day execution of assigned strategic projects (or phase) and manage project resources to drive a successful project deliveryPrepare Project Plan and financial forecasts/estimates for all phasesDeliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication to SteCo and relevant stakeholders with regular reporting on status, KPIs, project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issuesLiaise with customer organization to ensure consistent and aligned needs are metManage Project (and esp. scope changes) according to the CapEx/PM processesEnsure adherence to Quality & EHS standards (project management and technical)Drive selection of engineering suppliers and vendors together with IM&S, assisting negotiation and dispute management as neededProvide consultation and participate to workshops, peer-reviews and Post Implementation Reviews in other ProjectsParticipate to the development of CapEx/PM best practices & standards when requested**Decision-making authority**:

- Initial signature on Contracts with external engineering suppliers- Authorization of scope changes to the Steering Committee**Education / Primary Qualification**:

- **Diploma**:BSc/MSc in Engineering or equivalent experience, Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2) an advantage
- **Languages**:Fluent in English. Language of location an advantage
- **Professional** experience**:

- Proven experience in leading middle/large green/brownfield projects (3-7 years) preferably in food/chemical
- Experience in complex/matrix organizations
- Experience in working with diverse cultures and multidiscipline specialists
- Experience in the FMCG industry a plus
- Experience in contract management and supplier selection processes
