You will join the Data department organized into:
- A **Data Platform** team with 6 Data Engineers responsible for ingesting large amounts of data from multiple different sources, creating and maintaining a core data model which aims at making data standardized, reliable and easily available
- A **Data Science and ML Platform** team with 4 Data Scientists / ML Engineer working on ML-driven data products: Autobidder for User Acquisition, N-Testing for experimentation
- An **Advanced Analytics & Data Science** team with 7 Data Analysts exploiting our data for:
- Game Analytics
- User Acquisition and Marketing Analytics
- Market Inteligence Analytics
- Ops Analytics
**Role and Missions — What you will do**:
As the **Associate Director of Game Analytics** at All in Hole, you will shape the analytical strategy of our leading title, reporting directly to our VP of Data. Guiding a team of analysts, you’ll serve as the key link between the data team and product stakeholders, leveraging insights to drive game performance and player engagement.
**Your key responsibilities will be**:
- **Strategic Leadership**: Define and prioritize the analytics roadmap to support ambitious player engagement and revenue goals.
- **Hands-on Contribution**: Take the lead in developing sophisticated player behavior analyses and advanced methodologies. Champion best practices through personal example—your hands-on work will set the standard and continuously raise the bar for analytical excellence.
- **Team Management**: Manage and mentor a team of two analysts, fostering professional growth, promoting knowledge exchange, and ensuring alignment with key project objectives.
- **Collaboration with Stakeholders**: Work in close partnership with Product Managers, Game Designers, and cross-functional teams to determine sprint objectives, align analytical priorities, and deliver impactful, data-informed recommendations. Continuously refine workflows, implement cutting-edge analytical tools, and evolve methodologies to enhance decision-making across the organization.
**Requirements**:
You have a solid background in analytics **and** puzzle game design, and are excited to join a diverse team of mobile gaming enthusiasts. If the following describes you, we’d love to meet you:
- **Industry Expertise**: Proven leadership experience in the mobile gaming sector, with a strong emphasis on puzzle games—understanding their design nuances, player motivations, and engagement drivers.
- **Technical Mastery**: Demonstrated proficiency in data wrangling (SQL, Python), visualization (Python, Tableau), pipeline building (Airflow, dbt) and A/B testing, enabling you to deliver end-to-end analytical solutions.
- **Leadership & Collaboration**: Ability to inspire and mentor a team, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align analytics initiatives with product objectives.
- **Effective Communication**: Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear, engaging manner tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
