As a Junior designer at & Other Stories, you are accountable for supporting the senior designer in developing loved products and assortment within our Bags section (OMNI). Work in tight collaboration with the design and buying team. Always with the target customer in mind in order to maximize growth and profitability, short and long term.

Your responsibilities are divided into, but not limited to, the following parts:

- Understand how the concept’s customer are affected by trends and research
- Be involved in which identified shapes, materials and colors the customer will be demanding next season.
- Create and update flat sketches and technical files based on the planned assortment
- Update overviews, color charts and presentation material
- Assist in sample comments and update sketches and technical files accordingly to the new information.
- Assist the design function with designing the assortment.
- Constantly follow the selling and act on new tendencies as well as search for the new commercial fashion

**Qualifications**
- Visionary and trend driven
- Fashion intelligence, driven by trend analysis to be able to predict what your customers will demand in a year from now
- Business and salesmanship sense
- Strong knowledge in technical design and product development (for bags)
- Technical knowledge of how products are created
- Strong aesthetic on design connected to the concept / customer description
- Aesthetic sense of colors and shapes
- Programs: Illustrator, Power point
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Pro active, organized and methodic way of working

**Additional Information**
This local contract position is placed in our Atelier in Paris, France. This contract is a temporary contract, starting date Nov/Dec 2024.
