Capex & Indirect Category Manager Europe

Under the surpervision of the European Indirect Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing Indirect Supplies & Services, and MRO as well as Capex expends for our 5 European plants. You will
- Define and execute competitive and innovative strategies in line with Global, Regional strategies.
- Insure Procurement Excellence designing analytic strategies based on measurable tools (TCO, market’s analysis, risks management, quality)
- Manage key regional negotiations et follow EU major Indirect’s projects and /or major contractor’s issues
- Drive development of new market’s opportunities (source new suppliers, technologies, substitution products, etc )
- Define customer needs with stakeholders, and are capable to understand technical requirements (from Engineering department for example), and to challenge internal customers within their specification
- Participate as a Team member to EU Capex main projects in collaboration with project lead, sites and Corporate Procurement to deliver projects on time and at cost
- Execute on a sourcing strategy that drives best value and lowest TCO for the assigned categories.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in Procurement with a productive understanding of the 7 steps procurement process
- Excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills French and English
- Can work as part of a team and owns projects from strategy design to execution
- Natural ability to engage with internal stakeholders and at ease to negotiate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office systems and other Procurement tools
- Experience in Chemical industry is a plus
**Education**:
BS in engineering (preferred) or relevant experience working with contractors and suppliers in a process manufacturing (Chemical industry preferred).
