**WHAT YOU’LL DO (AND WHY IT MATTERS)**

**Software Development**
- Identify areas to improve client-side performance and scalability of user-facing features

**Research Collaboration**
- Engage in collaborative research projects with academic institutions, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, sustainability topics.

**Documentation and Reporting**
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate research findings and software developments effectively to diverse audiences.

- React (functional and hooks), React Query

**WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**
- Enrolled in a Ph.D. program in a relevant field (computer science, AI, environmental engineering, etc.) and looking for your first job
- Strong background in software development, machine learning and AI
- Experience with relevant programming languages (Python, Docker, etc.)
- Experience designing APIs
- Demonstrable experience in solving software performance and scalability issues
- Understanding of modern web stack
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English

**WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED**

Role-based in central Paris (France), with the possibility of 2-3 days of remote work a week.

**YOUR TEAM**

You will be part of the Tech team, working on multiple features and report to the CPTO.
