**YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT**:
**Within the Group,** **you will join the AXA Group Compliance department** that own Group Standards Polices on Compliance, including Anti Money Laundering, Anti Bribery & Corruption, Data Privacy, Conduct and International Sanctions.
Within this Department, you will be part of the AXA Group AML team working directly for the Head of AXA Group AML Control Oversight owning AML Control Oversight. You will be part of a team providing advice and support on the implementation of effective AML and targeted sanctions compliance programs across AXA entities worldwide to meet international and local regulatory requirements.
**YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES**:
- Contribute to develop and improve AML controls, procedures, and policies leveraging automation and technology when feasible.
- Participate in documenting detailed procedure manuals covering all processes and reporting requirements covering AML topics including AML technology.
- Provide support to execute all required processes that are primarily designed to manage financial crime risks or comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide support on the implementation of an effective AML Management Information (MI) compliance programme across AXA entities worldwide, to meet Group, international and local regulatory requirements. Where appropriate, act as an escalation point for AXA entities on AML MI matters, before further escalation to the AXA Group Anti Money Laundering Officer (GAMLO).
- As part of the Group Compliance AML team, assist in the oversight at a high level of AML systems, controls and related technology across the AXA Group.
- Support the line manager in ensuring accurate, timely and consistent reports are provided to the AXA GAMLO
- Prepare materials based on received content from AXA Group AML team to support regulatory visits, trainings, workshops and other meetings
- Contribute to provide support to the GAMLO and the AML team with onsite AML reviews at AXA entities world-wide, identifying compliance gaps, preparing supporting documents and assisting in the development of processes to remediate gaps or otherwise improve processes.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
**Background and experience**:
- 1 to 3 years of AML operational advisory experience, ideally in insurance, although banking or asset management experience will also be considered.
**Technical and professional skills**:
- Knowledge of AML laws, regulations, financial crime trends, and methods
- Understanding of KYC & financial crime including AML controls, terrorist financing, CDD, EDD, watchlists, Targeted sanctions and PEP and stay abreast of changes to regulations. Ability to clearly articulate the regulatory risks and trade-offs with different process and procedure options
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail to identify inconsistencies and potential gaps
- Ability to design, implement and operate AML monitoring processes and controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and team collaboration both in French and English
- Willingness to participate in continuous training and development in line with evolving AML and insurance industry standards
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professional ethics handling sensitive information
