**Job description**:
We have a current opportunity for a Engineering Manager on a contract basis. The position will be based in Paris supporting an LNG project in the Middle East.

Responsible and accountable for all the activities related to the development of:
- To build up a technical referential adapted to the project in coordination with the Customer Line and all the
technological entities involved in the project scope
- To manage a multi-disciplinary technical team efficiently and in a good working atmosphere (disciplines
involved are Process, Safety Engineering, Piping, Mechanical, E&I and Tel, Structure, Civil, etc...)
- To ensure that the design of the installations meet the requirements of the Specifications, SOR and Safety
concept
- To ensure quality of all disciplines as well as the quality of the deliverables provided by the contractor
ACTIVITIES
- To lead and manage the multi-disciplinary, multicultural engineering (Company representatives, resident
engineers, lead & senior discipline engineers) teams responsible for the overall FEED and the associated
engineering standards and systems, with focus on the successful and timely project execution.
- To work and interact proactively and efficiently with the FEED Contractors to achieve the facilities design
fit for purpose and in compliance with the Project Objectives.
- To be and remain the focal point for all technical and engineering issues of the Project, including
consistency in the design.
- Provide the necessary Project Management Coordination with other key positions within COMPANY
organization, such as but not limited to Interface Manager, Field Operation Manager, Tank Package
Manager, Project Control Manager, In-Country Representative, HSE Manager, Quality Manager and
Contract Leader.
- To react proactively to provide the necessary technical coordination and arbitration between the different
disciplines and Work Packages in case of conflict or inconsistencies in the design and keep all parties
informed of the decision taken or proposal for decision.
- To promote sound and proven engineering solutions to ensure safe, operable and maintainable PLANT
Facilities, to avoid novelty while supporting innovative solutions when leading to CAPEX and OPEX
optimizations.
- To closely work with the Package Manager and act on his behalf as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Professional Experience: +10 years
- Experience in similar position: +8 years (or in management major international construction contracts)
- Education Level / Diploma: Engineer
- Languages: English and French (mandatory)
