Vice President - Business Development - Head of Digital Partners

At Mastercard, you’ll have the opportunity to join an agile and high performing team to drive revenue on the French Market.
The Business Development Digital Partners team, you’ll be leading, is focused on identifying and building partnerships throughout the non-traditional payments value chain to achieve continual growth in this vertical. These partners represent some of the most entrepreneurial and innovative organizations Mastercard works with today among which the Fintechs, the digital merchants, the crypto/web 3 players, the digital issuing processors and all the start-ups bringing innovations in payments and Financial Services. You’ll also have the responsibility to implement Mastercard Open Banking solutions on the French market. Through these partnerships and the utilization of our full set of products and services you’ll have the opportunity to develop Mastercard business and grow new streams of revenue.
As the Head of Digital Partners in France, you’ll report to Mastercard France Country Manager, taking responsibility for all our Digital Partners Business Development strategy across France, and will join Mastercard France Management Team along with the Head of Financial Institutions, the Head of Retail & Commerce and the Head of Government. You’ll manage a team of talented Business Developers with high experience in Digital Partnerships.
We are looking for a self-motivated, structured problem solver with a creative outlook with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and influence others with a strong team spirit.
Your main objectives with your team will be to:

- grow revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities with new or existing customers/markets
- focus on growing market share, the number of customer touch points, and MA’s footprint
- set sales & business development strategy aligned with your geography and segment
- be responsible for pipeline management within your vertical

Key accountabilities of the role
- Lead and motivate a team of high talented Business Developers to help them achieving high performance
- Support your team’s efforts in defining a clear strategy to address their respective segment
- Support your team’s efforts in closing new deals and increasing MA’s market share
- Develop the sales pipeline, coordinating with product and account management teams.
- Coordinate with Western Europe’s BD teams to develop joint initiatives for our clients & prospects and feed them with insights on the French Market.
- Play a lead role in conversations with key decision makers for new or emerging product opportunities
- Play a role as Ambassador of Mastercard in France on your Digital Partners perimeter along with associations in your perimeter to federate actors of the ecosystem, generate new opportunities.

Experiences
- Experienced in managing, motivating and coaching teams of Business Developers
- In-depth experience defining, executing and managing business development strategies for large or complex countries/regions/industry verticals
- Track record in achieving business development targets and building strong customer relationships through customer sales
- Demonstrated success introducing existing and new/emerging solutions into various countries/regions/industry verticals
