**Your work environment**:
We are now looking for a **Legal Director** for the EMEA region, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and based in our Paris office.

**Your mission in Crown**

The jobholder is responsible for providing legal support to the businesses and corporate functions in respect of customers’ and suppliers’ contracts, mergers & acquisitions, divestments, real estate transactions and other business activities across the EMEA region. The jobholder ensures that adequate legal support is provided at all times in conjunction with local counsel and provides procedures, policies & guidelines where required.

Specifically the jobholders responsibilities include:

- Legal support to sales and sourcing directors in the negotiation of commercial contracts.
- Management of commercial disputes and litigation across the EMEA region together with local counsel.
- Providing support in the context of M&A transactions, including the negotiations of JV agreements, the set-up of the due diligence process, SPA negotiation and coordination with local counsel.
- Implementation of corporate restructuring with the support of two in-house paralegals
- Ensuring proper implementation of data protection rules across the EMEA division.

**About you**:
For this role we expect the applicant to be qualified in a civil-law jurisdiction and around 8 years international relevant working experience as an in-house lawyer and/or with an international law firm. You are a general commercial lawyer, notably with contract, compliance, competition or litigation/arbitration background and you have a perfect command of English, French and Spanish (written and oral). You have a pragmatic and business-oriented attitude and you are comfortable in working in an international business environment with contacts and experience throughout Europe, North-Africa, and the Middle East.
