** Main Responsabilities**Study and understand the challenges of the programs across the company's business departments; Define the large scope of the neuro research program.
- Propose research areas and ideas for new projects (new targets);
- In collaboration with PA and TxM heads, ensure adequation between the priorities and needs of resources (internal/external) in order to adjust and negotiate the means to be deployed to successfully complete the project;
- Define with the Direction the qualitative (scientific quality) and quantitative (passing of milestones) objectives related to the program;
- Analyze and arbitrate the means necessary for the successful achievement of these objectives
Continuously monitor developments in the scientific field to correct the program's objectives if necessary
Coordinate and plan the research programs in conjunction with the Head of ASO, Head of AB ad Head of SME team
Arbitrate and allocate means/resources (human, financial, deadlines, materials, etc.) according to the strategy
Supervise reports, presentations to internal decision-making bodies and publications on research program
- Manage a team of 3 leaders responsible each for a specific therapeutic modality, ensure a high level of motivation and qualification of the team; Insure their continuous improvement
- Contribute to Neurology strategic decisions ad hoc (LT Neuro) and to the creation of an efficient, cooperative and fully integrated Neurosciences research group across all modalities (ASO, AB and SME teams).
** Profile**PhD biology/pharmaco/biochem/genomics
- Neurosciences (mandatory), drug discovery (mandatory)
- Open mind, team player, combining deep analysis and strategic thinking
- 10 years in academic research/biotech/pharma
